Our Purpose and Mission is. . .
It is the purpose of Trust The Journey, to operate, to raise funds to donate/gift to children and their families, who have disabilities, challenges and medical complex needs. We will provide financial support and assistance to those families with a need for therapy services, educational services, recreational services, medical supplemental services, functional medical facility expenses, and medical equipment expenses of their disabled child, who demonstrate a financial need.
The founders of Trust The Journey have personal experience in dealing with children with disabilities and the amount of financial responsibility and the challenges in obtaining the necessary funds needed to care for a child with disabilities. They wish to help others in similar situations avoid these challenging situations.

How do I apply for funding for my child/family?
Simply reivew the information on our How To Apply page and fill out the contact form. Our team will review your request and reach out to you for additional information.
Do I need to live in Northeast Ohio to receive help?
We try to provide help to our local children and families. You are invited to apply no matter where you are located, but preference is placed with local families.
How can I make a change to my application?
Simply send us a message via email or the contact form, and we will contact you.
How is the grant award paid once the grant is received?
Awarded funds are paid directly to the therapy provider or the device manufacturer upon receipt of invoice.
How long do I have to use funds once a grant is awarded?
Grants must be used within 12 months from the date of award notification.
Are grants renewable?
No. Grants cannot be renewed. A separate application must be submitted for each grant request, per calendar year.
